Michele received her J.D. from the John Marshall Law School. She also received her L.L.M. in Employee Benefits from them. The John Marshall Law School is the only law school in the United States that offers an L.L.M. program in Employee Benefits.
Before becoming an attorney, Michele worked for both mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies in the areas of benefits and risk management. In addition to her J.D. and L.L.M., Michele holds her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Her background makes Michele uniquely qualified to identify and analyze areas of possible concern for businesses, then develop and implement solutions and strategies that meet the goals and objectives of the business.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Sheila spent over ten years working for Fortune 500 companies as a human resources manager with both domestic and global responsibilities. With this diverse background, Sheila is able to understand her client’s needs from their perspective. She has experience developing creative solutions for unique, complex employee situations within the boundaries of the law.
